Geneza: od konieczności do wartości

VirtuClassic – organizowane przez Fundację Muzyczną Virtuoso jest autorskim projektem artystycznym stworzonym z inicjatywy Justyny Zańko – koncertującej skrzypaczki, pomysłodawczyni i artystycznej dyrektorki festiwalu. Narodziło się w czasie globalnej niepewności – w momencie, gdy świat kultury stanął w obliczu bezprecedensowych wyzwań, a cisza stała się doświadczeniem wspólnym dla artystów i odbiorców. Powstaliśmy po to, aby tej ciszy nadać sens i stworzyć przestrzeń, w której sztuka może nadal łączyć ludzi ponad granicami. Rozpoczynając od inicjatyw online, cyklicznego konkursu muzycznego, poprzez projekty hybrydowe, aż po wydarzenia stacjonarne, VirtuClassic stopniowo budowało międzynarodową sieć współpracy artystycznej. Dotychczas w naszym festiwalu udział wzięło ponad piętnastu twórców z różnych części świata, reprezentujących różnorodne dziedziny sztuki i perspektywy twórcze. VirtuClassic rozwija się wielowymiarowo, obejmując również VirtuClassic International Music Competition| Międzynarodowy Konkurs Muzyczny VirtuClassic. Jego letnia edycja, zrealizowana w czerwcu, stanowiła kolejny etap rozwoju marki i międzynarodowej współpracy artystycznej. Dziś VirtuClassic wkracza w nowy etap rozwoju – jako międzynarodowy festiwal sztuki realizowany stacjonarnie w Lublinie, mieście o wyjątkowym dziedzictwie historycznym i kulturowym.

VirtuClassic International Arts Festival to interdyscyplinarny projekt artystyczny będący odpowiedzią na współczesne potrzeby społeczne i kulturowe. Naszym celem jest stworzenie przestrzeni idei – miejsca, w którym sztuka nie jest jedynie prezentowana, lecz współtworzona poprzez dialog, spotkanie i wymianę doświadczeń.Festiwal został pomyślany jako platforma łącząca artystów, odbiorców, partnerów i instytucje wokół wspólnej refleksji nad rolą sztuki we współczesnym świecie.

Fundamenty projektu:

Przełamujemy bariery pomiędzy twórcą a odbiorcą. Wierzymy, że sztuka zyskuje najgłębszy wymiar wtedy, gdy staje się impulsem do rozmowy, wymiany myśli i budowania relacji.

Humanizm i relacje

W centrum VirtuClassic stoi człowiek. Fundamentem projektu jest przekonanie, że kultura oparta na wartościach humanistycznych wzmacnia wspólnotę, rozwija wrażliwość i buduje przestrzeń świadomego współistnienia.

Interdyscyplinarność

VirtuClassic przekracza granice pojedynczych dyscyplin. Planujemy tworzyć przestrzeń, w której muzyka, teatr, literatura, sztuki wizualne i działania performatywne wzajemnie się inspirują, tworząc nową jakość artystycznego doświadczenia.

VirtuClassic Concert Series – Koncerty muzyki klasycznej

Główny filar festiwalu stanowi program koncertowy poświęcony muzyce klasycznej. W ramach tegorocznej edycji planowana jest realizacja trzech koncertów muzyki klasycznej.Koncerty odbędą się w starannie wybranych, historycznych przestrzeniach związanych z dziedzictwem Miasta Lublin. Program ten podkreśla dialog pomiędzy tradycją, historią i współczesnym wykonawstwem artystycznym, tworząc przestrzeń spotkania najwyższej jakości muzyki z wyjątkową architekturą miejsca.

Genesis: From Necessity to Value

VirtuClassic, organized by the Virtuoso Music Foundation, is an original artistic project initiated by Justyna Zańko—a concert violinist, visionary, and the festival’s Artistic Director. It was born during a time of global uncertainty, when the world of culture faced unprecedented challenges and silence became a shared experience for both artists and audiences. We were founded to give meaning to that silence and to create a space where art could continue to connect people beyond borders.

Starting with online initiatives and a cyclical music competition, moving through hybrid projects to live events, VirtuClassic has gradually built an international network of artistic collaboration. To date, our festival has featured over fifteen creators from various parts of the world, representing diverse disciplines and creative perspectives.

VirtuClassic is evolving multidimensionally, also encompassing the VirtuClassic International Music Competition. Its summer edition, held in June, marked another milestone in the brand’s growth and international artistic cooperation. Today, VirtuClassic enters a new chapter as an international arts festival held live in Lublin—a city of exceptional historical and cultural heritage.

Mission: More Than a Festival

The VirtuClassic International Arts Festival is an interdisciplinary artistic project responding to contemporary social and cultural needs. Our goal is to create a „space of ideas” – a place where art is not merely presented but co-created through dialogue, encounters, and the exchange of experiences. The festival is conceived as a platform connecting artists, audiences, partners, and institutions around a shared reflection on the role of art in the contemporary world.

We break down barriers between the creator and the receiver. We believe that art achieves its deepest dimension when it becomes an impulse for conversation, the exchange of ideas, and the building of relationships.

Humanism and Relationships

At the heart of VirtuClassic lies the human being. The foundation of the project is the conviction that culture based on humanistic values strengthens the community, develops sensitivity, and builds a space for conscious coexistence.

Interdisciplinarity

VirtuClassic transcends the boundaries of individual disciplines. We aim to create a space where music, theater, literature, visual arts, and performative actions inspire one another, creating a new quality of artistic experience.

VirtuClassic Concert Series

The main pillar of the festival is a concert program dedicated to classical music. This year’s edition will feature three classical music concerts. The performances will take place in carefully selected historical venues associated with the heritage of the City of Lublin. This program emphasizes the dialogue between tradition, history, and contemporary artistic performance, creating a space where top-tier music meets exceptional architecture.

Od Baroku po Współczesność – muzyczna, fascynująca wędrówka przez stulecia – od ponadczasowych kompozycji J. S. Bacha, aż po pełną energii i innowacji wirtuozerię twórców XX wieku. Ten cykl koncertów ukazuje ewolucję skrzypcowej ekspresji, łącząc klasyczną tradycję z językiem współczesnej sztuki.

From Baroque to Modernity – A musical journey through the centuries – from the timeless masterpieces of J. S. Bach to the vibrant, innovative energy of 20th-century virtuoso works. This series explores the evolution of violin expression, bringing the gap between classical tradition and contemporary artistic language.
