Justyna Zańko
As a soloist she has appeared in many concert halls including the Adrian Boult Hall, Recital Hall at Birmingham Conservatoire, Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Mall Galeries in London, Lublin and Cracow Philharmonic Halls, Goethe Insitute in Cracow, Warsaw Music Academy Concert Hall, The Lublin Crown Tribunal, Music Festival Concert Hall in Brest.
Justyna is also undertaking a number of concerts engagements at “The Old Town Harmonies Festival”, “ The International Festival of the Wieniawski Brothers” in Lublin and “Virtuoso Violin Festival” in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Conductors she has performed with include Piotr Wijatkowski with the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra (2001), Przemyslaw Stanislawski with the Royal Tribunal Chamber Orchestra (2012), Michael Seal with the Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra (2013), Rimma Sushanskaya with the Stratford Virtuosi Orchestra (2014) and Cheung Chau with the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra (2018).
She has appeared twice as a concertmaster of the Stratford Virtuosi Orchestra (UK) performing, among others, The Apollon Musagete by Igor Stravinsky. She has also played in the Chamber Ensemble at the 4th and 5th “Andrzej Nikodemowicz International Festival- Time and Sound”
Since 2016, Justyna has been a resident performer at the Chamber Concerts Series at the Lublin Community Centre.
Her repertoire includes works from the baroque to the contemporary.
As an orchestral musician Justyna has performed in the Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Polish National Philharmonic Hall, Polish Radio Concert Hall, Academy of Music Hall in Warsaw collaborating with outstanding conductors such as Jerzy Maksymiuk, Marek Pijarowski, Jerzy Salwarowski, Michael Seal, Jerzy Semkow, Bruno Weil and Antoni Wit. Since January 2010 she has worked as an orchestral player in the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra.
